The flora and fauna of New Zealand is remarkable but what lies beneath is breathtaking, Jacques Cousteau rated the Poor Knights diving spot as one of the top 10 dive destinations of the world but he didn’t dive the Bay of Islands. Many of our clients that dive the Bay of Islands and Danger Rock rate these dive locations on a par with or better than the Poor Knights and all of this is at the door step of Pawhaoa Bay Lodge. We cater for all experience levels from Padi Try Diving through to TDI Extended Range Diving. Hire equipment available. Full guided tours are available with Shane & Julia the owner operators with over 20 years local diving knowledge. We operate out of 6 metre and 7.5 metre ridged hull inflatables which are ideal stable dive platforms. Northland Dives base is 15 minutes drive from Pawhaoa Bay Lodge.
