March-09 "Well I don't know where to begin - our stay at Pawhaoa was just wonderful - way beyond even our highest expectations. The website hardly begins to show what a fantastic location and beautiful house you have made - and the lovely garden, and that's' before mentioning the outstanding hospitality of the host and hostess. You had thought of every little detail from the personal welcome letters, beautiful wedding menus, lovely table settings and flowers and THE DELICIOUS FOOD (from our first scone I knew we were in for a gourmet stay...) As you saw we loved everything you made - the wedding dinner was superb as was the Friday night supper - and Bill's smoked kahawhai was just the best. The 'boys' loved being able to kayak, fish and swim from the Lodge and that's something most English people don't do on their wedding d ay, but above all it was the caring and sensitive way that you both hosted the occasion which made it so memorable.
Ben and Katya had the most special two days and felt very honoured that they were given Trevor and Rose's Maori welcome (thank you for organising that). I thought Katya looked beautiful and they were both so happy. "

You have created a very special place here, comfortable, even luxurious, but without any pretentiousness or undue formality. It has been a delight staying here, we could not imagine a better way to get over jetlag or a nicer way to celebrate Xmas 2006. Thankyou for everything."
