Suggested Itinerary TWO - 4 Day Fish and Dive

Day ONE – Arrive Pawhaoa from 3pm onwards enjoy a complimentary afternoon tea, while absorbing the beauty of the harbour and surrounds. After settling into your luxurious Villa or Lodge room walk across the lawn and into the water to cool off.

Rest and relax on the sun loungers in front of your room before joining us and other guests to watch the sun set and share experiences over complimentary pre dinner drinks followed by a gourmet 3 course dinner. Served by candle light on your deck or in the main Lodge dining room (your choice).

Day TWO - Breakfast at time of your choosing (upto 10am) then self drive to Northland Divebase (15minutes)

Return to Pawhaoa to relax or for the more active swim, kayak or walk before joining us and others for pre dinner drinks and dinner.

Day THREE - Early breakfast and walk onto the beach in front of the Lodge to join the Ruawaka for a half day to bottom fish outside Whangaruru Harbour (Mike Austin, with all fishing gear supplied).

Return to Pawhaoa with your catch, and have it prepared and served as “catch of the day” should you wish, for dinner.

Rest and relax for the afternoon enjoying a choice of beautiful deserted beaches within 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car. Enjoy your predinner drinks while watching the sunset on another glorious day and have a romantic dinner over candle light on your private deck.

Day FOUR –. Late breakfast (up to 10am) then self drive via the stunning coastal road to Russell. Explore this small and historic little township by foot. Full of historic buildings, gift shops and cafes. Meet the Dolphin Discovery Tour at the Russell Wharf at 1pm see www.explorenz.co.nz

Board the Luxurious Discovery1V for an eco-adventure in the stunning Bay of Islands which includes

Tour approximately 3.5 hrs long. Return to Pawhaoa via the alternative route of Old Russel Road. This is a slightly shorter route back that takes you over a rough metal road through spectacular virgin native bush and a viewing of some magnificent mature Kauri Trees over 500 yrs old .

Arrive back in time for a rest before enjoying your last sunset over drinks and a gourmet dinner.

If preferred you have the option of doing the Russell/Dolphin Trip in the morning (depart Pawhaoa at 8am to meet the Tour at the Russell Wharf at 9am) and returning to enjoy a relaxing afternoon sunbathing, swimming, kayaking on your own beautiful beach in front of the Lodge.

Day FIVE- Wake to the sound of birds , perhaps you may enjoy a swim or kayak (weather permitting) before breakfast. Enjoy a last leisurely gourmet breakfast before leaving Pawhaoa (Check out time11am) or perhaps bookings will allow you to stay on for a few more days of relaxing and unwinding in one of the most beautiful places in NZ.
